Oral Presentations & Public Speaking in Competition PDF Print E-mail

"Just wanted to let you know that your record is still intact. We were awarded the contract for the Coast Guard The Ports and Waterways Safety System. We did extremely well. The presentation in particular was very very well received. That was what won it."

Oral Presentations & Public Speaking in Competition

What now!?!

The federal government is trying out Oral "proposals" attempting to reduce procurement expenses and speed up the selection process.

Many commercial clients are requiring on-site interviews of teams so that they can evaluate folks "up close and personal" when hiring or building an alliance.

Winning major projects in Oral presentations is a delicate process. You cannot use a red-pen to edit the speech of your staff as you can do with a written proposal. (c)2005 Laura Ricci

It’s unrealistic to train your staff to be polished actors.

You need their best presentation as a technical professional -- not as an actor or television personality.

They need to be comfortable enough to be themselves and effectively answer the hard questions.

We’ve been helping win Oral Presentations and offer three services:

Presentation coaching, (c)2005 Laura Ricci
Training for marketing managers, and
Training for the first challenge of an Oral proposal.

Training for marketing managers covers the strategy and systems you’ll need to prepare your group for presentation. Presentation coaching is individual to each person and is the final polish.
